The band members, and some of their other projects, are Joey Hebdo – vocals (also Hebdo, Popgun) Tony McClung – drums (also Hoo Doo Soul Band, Popgun) David Vaubel – bass (also The Randys) Jon Beard – keyboards, accordion (also the Randys, Headmasters) Andy Harrison – guitar (also The Everlasting Happiness, ex-Howlin’ Maggie) Tony Zilincik – sousaphone, trombone (also New Basics Brass Band, Brass Band of Columbus, Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra ) Tim Perdue – trumpet (also New Basics Brass Band)
For several years now, The Jesse Henry Band has celebrated Thanksgiving Eve by performing all of Tom Petty’s classic Wildflowers album. Jesse, also the leader of The Spikedrivers, is joined in the JHB by Jeff Passifiume on lead guitar, David Vaubel on bass, Ryan Paradise on keys, and Jim Castoe on drums. They did all of the album plus several bonus Petty cuts, and a great time was had by all.
Meet Tuesdays 7pm in the 1804 Room of Baker Center at Ohio University when OU is in session.
